Narendra Modi unveils early warning guidelines and supply chain measures
At the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi rolled out new steps to help member countries work better together.
Highlights include Early Warning Data Integration Guidelines to strengthen disaster management and improve preparedness among Brics countries, and a framework to make supply chains more reliable.
Leaders also talked about boosting trade, supporting farmers, and bringing more digital technology into agriculture.
BRICS Incubator and Startup Innovation Fund
Modi announced a BRICS Incubator Network to connect startups across countries and proposed a Brics Startup Innovation Fund to support innovative and scalable solutions.
The summit also said the BRICS Network on Digital Agriculture would create new opportunities for farmers by promoting cooperation and digital solutions in agriculture.
The New Delhi Declaration wrapped things up by backing fair global trade rules and calling for stronger cooperation in logistics, manufacturing, and customs.
