NATO pilots are getting trained to use ideaForge's SWITCH UAV
Indian company ideaForge just kicked off a first-of-its-kind drone training program for NATO at the US National Test Pilot School.
The program, launched on March 9, brings together participants from countries like Canada, Israel, India, Germany, Australia, Italy, and Sweden, all learning with the SWITCH UAV made by ideaForge.
The week-long training program is focused on hands-on practice
It's a week-long crash course covering everything from planning missions and flying drones to analyzing data after flights.
The focus is on hands-on practice in real-world scenarios so teams can get better at using drones for tactical missions.
The SWITCH UAV can fly like a plane and take off
The SWITCH UAV is a hybrid drone that can take off vertically and fly like a plane.
It stays in the air for up to 2 hours, has a range of about 15km (roughly 14.97km), and features high-definition optical zoom, perfect for surveillance in tough terrain.
Plus, it's easy to carry around and assemble without tools.
