Big changes are hitting the tech world: Oracle just could cut 20,000 to 30,000 jobs globally (with about 12,000 in India), even though its profits are up.
The company is making a capital-intensive push into artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure and restructuring as part of that shift.
TCS trims over 12,000 roles 2025-2026
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) also trimmed more than 12,000 roles between 2025 and 2026, but mostly at midlevel and senior levels.
Its approach was slower and tied to a tighter bench policy and redeployment process.
CEO K Krithivasan admitted these choices were tough but said staying agile matters most right now.
Meanwhile, regulators are watching closely after complaints about forced exits.
