Foraying into the telecom sector, Patanjali has announced the launch of Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM card in India. Launched in collaboration with state-run Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the SIM card offers BSNL's Rs. 144 data pack to the users. This recharge plan includes unlimited calls across the country, 2GB of data, and 100 SMS for an unknown validity period.

Patanjali co-founder Baba Ramdev said, "There are 5 lakh counters of BSNL in the country and from there people can soon get Patanjali Swadeshi Samriddhi cards." BSNL's Chief General Manager Sunil Garg said, "Members of Patanjali have to just show their identity proof and their SIM will be activated soon after some paper work."
