SEBI clears ₹10,000cr IPO for ICICI Prudential AMC

Business

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company just got the go-ahead from SEBI to launch its much-awaited ₹10,000 crore IPO. The offer includes shares being sold by its promoter, Prudential Corporation Holdings.
Before the IPO hits, a bonus issue will bump up the company's share capital, with up to 4.94 crore shares set to be sold.

Why this matters: market leader on a growth streak

ICICI Prudential AMC isn't just another finance company—it's currently India's largest asset manager, holding a 13% slice of the mutual fund market as of March 2025.
The numbers back it up: quarterly average assets under management reached ₹8.79 lakh crore by March 2025.
Plus, business is booming—revenue jumped from ₹2,837 crore in FY23 to ₹4,977 crore in FY25, and net profit nearly doubled in that time too.
This IPO could open new doors for even more growth ahead.
