UAS-Bengaluru's 'KrishiVitta' meet gives agri startups a boost

Business

UAS-Bengaluru just wrapped up its KrishiVitta - Agri Startup Investor Meet, bringing together fresh agri startups and investors to spark new ideas in farming.
Organized with GINSERV and the Atal Incubation Centre, Coffee Board, the event focused on making it easier for young businesses in agriculture to get funding and support.
Dr. S.V. Suresha, the university's Vice-Chancellor, shared how committed they are to helping innovators shape the future of farming.

Startups met investors and found new opportunities

At KrishiVitta, 11 startups got to pitch their projects directly to seven investors—opening doors for funding that could really move things forward.
The event also featured a Startup Expo and thematic workshops with more than 250 people joining in.
C.B. Bala Reddy from Karnataka's Agriculture Department called the program a milestone in agricultural transformation and encouraged investors to see these startups as partners in building better agriculture together.
