Uber launches delivery and metro ticketing in Bengaluru

Uber just dropped two new features in Bengaluru: Uber Direct for business deliveries and a metro ticketing option for Namma Metro riders.
Both are built on the ONDC platform, making it easier for people and businesses to get things done in the city.

What's new and what's next

With Uber Direct, local businesses can now send groceries (and soon food from places like KFC and Burger King) straight to your door through a B2B logistics service.
Plus, you can buy metro tickets right inside the Uber app using UPI—no more standing in line.
Uber India's president says they plan to roll these services out to more cities by 2026.
