UPI smashes 20 billion transactions in a single month

UPI just hit a new milestone—over 20 billion transactions in November 2025, worth ₹26.32 lakh crore.
That's a big jump from last year, with transaction counts up by 32% and total value up by 22%.
UPI is clearly becoming the go-to for digital payments, and as Anup Agarwal from Kiwi points out, it's grown fast from last year's numbers.
