India's digital future is getting a big boost from AI data centers, according to Union Minister of Railways of India, Ashwini Vaishnaw.
At the opening of Jabil India's new Pune plant, he said the next five to 10 years will be all about scaling up AI infrastructure: think smarter computing power, better energy use, and advanced cooling systems.
Pune plant supports Make in India
Vaishnaw pointed out that building high-tech components in India cuts down on imports and creates skilled jobs.
The new Pune facility supports "Make in India" by making advanced data center parts locally.
He also linked these tech upgrades to improved city connectivity, like new railway platforms and the upcoming Mumbai-Pune bullet train.
