What's the story

The much-loved Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (ZNMD) trio—Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol—recently reunited. But, much to fans' dismay, it wasn't for a sequel to their iconic movie. Instead, the actors have come together for a special collaboration with Yas Island. They posted a photo on social media announcing their partnership with the caption: "It took time, but we finally said YAS #ZindagiKoYasBol #collab."

Earlier, the trio's restaurant video sparked sequel speculation

Earlier this year, Akhtar had shared a video of Roshan and Deol at a restaurant. In the clip, Deol is engrossed in a book—The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas. Roshan exclaims "Unbelievable!" while looking at the same book and Akhtar comments "Outstanding." This video, with Akhtar's caption tagging his sister and ZNMD director Zoya Akhtar with the message "@zoieakhtar do you see the signs??" also had fans speculating a sequel.

'ZNMD' to return to theaters; sequel remains uncertain

The 2011 film ZNMD, which also starred Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin, is set to hit the theaters again.
