Ahaan Panday, who shot to fame with his debut in Mohit Suri's Saiyaara, has begun filming for his next project with director Ali Abbas Zafar. The untitled film is currently referred to as "Production No 79." Zafar confirmed the start of production on social media by sharing a photo of a clapboard and an intense close-up shot of Panday's eyes.

Panday to take on an action-oriented role
The upcoming film will also feature Sharvari, and it is reported that Panday will be seen in a more action-oriented role than in his romantic debut. Zafar had previously shared a photo of himself with Panday at one of the shooting locations, both dressed in leather jackets. The director captioned the post, "Power Isn't Given... Its TAKEN. Let's Roll."

Film to be shot extensively in London
Panday has reportedly been undergoing rigorous training for his role, including hand-to-hand combat and weapon training. As per Times Now, the team will head to London in May 2026 to shoot a major action sequence over five days. The film is expected to wrap up by July 2026 and hit theaters in early 2027.
