The boy, K. Chinni Krishna Uday Pawan Kumar, is undergoing treatment in Bengaluru, and his family was struggling to afford the expensive chemotherapy and bone marrow transplant.

After hearing about the family's situation during a visit to their district, Lokesh arranged ₹12 lakh in financial aid through the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
The funds will cover the boy's medical bills—giving his family some much-needed relief and prompting heartfelt thanks for Lokesh's timely support.
