Arnold Schwarzenegger in talks to return as Dutch in 'Predator'
Arnold Schwarzenegger just shared that he's talking with director Dan Trachtenberg about bringing back his legendary character, Dutch, for the next Predator film.
FOX studios has kind of rediscovered Arnold, he said in an interview, adding that Trachtenberg wants me to be in the next Predator.
Dutch's cameo in an animated anthology
Schwarzenegger first played Dutch way back in 1987's Predator.
The franchise has been getting fresh updates lately: Trachtenberg directed Prey and Predator: Badlands, both featuring new faces and storylines.
In an animated anthology, Dutch has been reported to have appeared in cryogenic sleep, hinting at a possible live-action comeback alongside other survivors like Naru.
First, a cameo; now, a full-on return?
Schwarzenegger has not reprised Dutch in any live-action sequels, and no cameo in an animated anthology is reported in the source.
Now, talks between him and the studio are heating up for a full-on return.
