Awez Darbar evicted from 'Bigg Boss 19'
What's the story
Social media influencer Awez Darbar was evicted from Bigg Boss 19 on Sunday. The digital star, son of music composer Ismail Darbar and brother-in-law of actor Gauahar Khan, had entered the house with his girlfriend Nagma Mirajkar. He even proposed to her on the show. However, his performance failed to resonate with viewers, leading to his exit.
Game strategy
Darbar's journey in 'BB 19'
Darbar's journey on Bigg Boss 19 was marked by a lackluster performance. Week after week, host Salman Khan urged him to step up his game. He formed close friendships with Abhishek Bajaj, Ashnoor Kaur, Gaurav Khanna, Pranit More, and Mridul Tiwari but often clashed with Baseer Ali and Amaal Mallik. At one point, they even accused Darbar of messaging other girls while dating Mirajkar.
Reality check
Khan's advice to Darbar
A day before his eviction, Khan visited the Bigg Boss house to give Darbar a pep talk. She urged him to be more proactive in the game and vocal about his opinions. "What has happened to you, Awez? If you don't fight your battle, who will? You have been quiet on issues where you should actually speak," she said.
Future plans
Will the couple get married as per original schedule?
Now that both Darbar and Mirajkar have been evicted, it remains to be seen if they will stick to their original wedding date in December. The couple had postponed their wedding due to Bigg Boss 19. The show streams on JioHotstar at 9:00pm before its TV telecast on Colors TV at 10:30pm.
