Born on August 23, 1981, Indian actress and model Gauahar Khan is best known for emerging as the winner of ‘Bigg Boss 7’ (2013). She began her modeling career in 2002 by participating in ‘Femina Miss India’ contest. Later the same year, she participated in the ‘Miss International’ contest. As of 2021, she has modeled for designers like Manish Malhotra, Ritu Kumar, and Neeta Lulla, and has appeared in several Television commercials. After working on a couple of music videos, she made her Bollywood debut with ‘Aan: Men at Work’ (2004). She rose to prominence after participating in ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 3’ (2009), a celebrity dance reality show. In 2009, she also appeared in ‘Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year’ which was a Yash Raj Films production, alongside actor Ranbir Kapoor. As of 2021, Khan has appeared in at least 15 Bollywood movies, over 15 TV shows and at least two web series. She is the sister of model and actor Nigaar Khan. She married Zaid Darbar in December 2020.
