Boman Irani wants Amitabh Bachchan for his next directorial project

After making his directorial debut with The Mehta Boys on Amazon Prime Video, Boman Irani is already thinking about what's next.
As he celebrates his birthday, he shared that he's eager to try a new genre and dreams of directing none other than Amitabh Bachchan—which he says "would really be an experience for posterity."

Exploring new genres and supporting fresh talent

Irani admits filmmaking isn't easy, from writing scripts to finding funds, but says perseverance is key.
Beyond directing, he's also mentoring young writers through his training program.
With recent projects like working alongside Bachchan in Uunchai and cheering on his son Kayoze's directorial debut Sarzameen this year, it's been a creatively packed time for the Irani family.
