Bombay High Court rejects Advani's claim of marriage to Khanna
The Bombay High Court has dismissed Anita Advani's request to officially recognize her relationship with late Bollywood star Rajesh Khanna as a marriage.
The court agreed with an earlier decision, saying there was not enough proof that the relationship was in the nature of marriage.
This is the latest chapter in a long legal fight between Advani and Khanna's family over domestic violence allegations.
Courts rejected Advani's domestic violence claim
Advani has been battling Khanna's family for years, filing cases against his wife Dimple Kapadia and daughter Twinkle Khanna.
In 2015, the court ruled she didn't qualify for protection under the Domestic Violence Act since she never lived with the family.
Although Advani insists she stayed with Khanna at his famous Aashirwad bungalow until 2012, courts have consistently said that doesn't make her his legal spouse.
