'Dhurandhar' smashes box office with ₹224.75cr in 5 days

Ranveer Singh's new film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is on a roll at the box office. After a small dip, it bounced back on Tuesday (Dec 9) with a strong ₹26.5 crore day, pushing its five-day India total to ₹152.75 crore.
However, the filmmakers suggested a higher figure of ₹28.60 crore for the same day, bringing the domestic total to ₹159.40 crore.
The movie saw solid turnout across over 6,170 screenings and has already crossed ₹224 crore worldwide—thanks in part to fans spreading good word overseas.

Netflix bags streaming rights for Dhurandhar and its sequel

Netflix just picked up Dhurandhar and its upcoming sequel for ₹130 crore—a big move that shows how much global platforms are betting on Indian hits.
The first film dropped December 5, and the sequel is set for March 19 next year, so there's plenty more Ranveer action coming soon!
