Reports of her sudden exit shocked the viewers of the show, and her absence aggravated it. However, fans can take a sigh of relief as the actress is still a part of the show. Reportedly, Harbhajan hasn't replaced Archana as the new judge of TKSS. He was there on the show just for two episodes, precisely, to be a part of the historical episode.
Archana replaced Sidhu after his comments on Pulwama attack
To recall, Archana had joined TKSS after Navjot Singh Sidhu was sacked from the show as he made controversial remarks on the Pulwama attack. Sidhu stated that an entire nation can't be blamed "for the dastardly acts of terrorists." His comments didn't go down well with people and Sidhu was eventually terminated from TKSS. Soon, he was replaced by Archana as the new judge.
Archana being paid Rs. 10 lakh per episode
Meanwhile, there are reports that Archana is a temporary replacement of Sidhu. According to the reports, she has been roped in for only 20 episodes of TKSS. In fact, she is, reportedly, being paid just Rs. 2cr for her entire stint on the show. This is way less than what Sidhu was paid for TKSS, which was around Rs. 25cr per season.
'TKSS' producer Salman Khan wants Sidhu to return on show?
On the other hand, media reports suggest that producer Salman Khan is planning to bring back Sidhu on TKSS. According to a Dainik Bhaskar report, despite his termination from TKSS, Sony TV hasn't ended its contract with the cricketer-turned-politician. In fact, it also suggested that Salman is keen to have Sidhu back on the show and is waiting for the controversy to subside.
