Dino Morea, who starred in the 2002 supernatural thriller Raaz, has expressed his desire to create a sequel. He said that the original story of Raaz deserves a proper follow-up. He told ETimes, "People call it horror, but it was really a supernatural thriller... Even today, I think it's one of India's finest supernatural films." It was directed by Vikram Bhatt.
