Disney's live-action Moana is getting a fresh twist with a brand-new song, "Along the Way," written by Lin Manuel Miranda.
The duet brings together Auli'i Cravalho (the original animated Moana) and Catherine Laga'aia (the new live-action Moana), letting both versions of the character share the spotlight.
Miranda describes it as "a musical conversation" that connects the two Moanas across generations.
Johnson returns as Maui alongside Cravalho
Dwayne Johnson is back as Maui, joining in on the new track alongside both Moanas.
Cravalho is lending her voice again, and fans can look forward to a blend of nostalgia and something totally new.
