What's the story
Acclaimed director Karthik Subbaraj is reportedly gearing up for a new venture in the digital space. His production house, Stone Bench Films, is working on a Tamil web series titled Legacy, reported M9 News. The series will premiere on Netflix and will reportedly feature Dulquer Salmaan, R Madhavan, and Gautham Karthik in lead roles. Charukesh Sekar (Ammu) has been roped in as the director.

Apart from directing movies, Subbaraj has also produced a few web series and films under Stone Bench Films. His production credits include Triples and Kallachirippu. However, despite trying his hand at different genres, most of his web productions have received mixed to underwhelming responses. It remains to be seen if Legacy can change that.

Meanwhile, Subbaraj is also working on a film with Suriya
Apart from this Netflix venture, Subbaraj is also in the final leg of post-production of his highly anticipated film Retro, starring actor Suriya. The project will get a grand release on May 1. The film will mark the first collaboration of Subbaraj and Suriya. It has been produced by S Thanu under his banner V Creations.
