'G2': Emraan Hashmi ready to 'redefine rivalry' in new poster

Marking the sixth anniversary of the successful Telugu action spy film Goodachari, actor Adivi Sesh and his team have unveiled six stills from the upcoming sequel, G2.
In these images, Sesh is caught mid-action in various scenes, teasing the narrative of the upcoming actioner.
One of the released stills also features Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi, who will be playing the central antagonist in the movie.

'Rivalry will be redefined': Hashmi said about the poster
While unveiling the poster, Hashmi wrote, "Rivals? Rivalry will be redefined."
The poster also features Sesh, and it looks like it's a still from an action/chase sequence.
The sequel to Goodachari, titled G2 or Goodachari 2, will feature Sesh in the lead role, while Shruti Haasan and Banita Sandhu have been cast as the female leads.
The action-packed sequel is directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi.

'Goodachari 2' is set for 2025 release
The sequel to Goodachari is slated to hit theaters in 2025, although a specific release date has not been announced yet.
The original film, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka and written by Sesh, is currently available streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
It features a star-studded cast including Sobhita Dhulipala, Jagapathi Babu, and Prakash Raj, among others.
As for Hashmi's upcoming works, he has another Telugu film in the pipeline: They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan.
