Guillermo del Toro's dream 'Justice League Dark' movie that never happened

Acclaimed director Guillermo del Toro just shared details about his unmade Justice League Dark film.
His version would have centered on John Constantine leading a team of supernatural heroes like Swamp Thing, Zatanna, and Deadman.

Casting hopes, villain plans, and what's next

Del Toro wrote the script with Doug Jones in mind for Deadman (they've teamed up before), and wanted the heroes to face off against Floronic Man—a villain he was excited to bring to life.
Even though the project didn't move forward, del Toro still loves the script and thinks it could work for future adaptations, maybe even as an animated movie someday.
