Lil Nas X (Montero Hill) just posted a heartfelt video update, letting fans know he's "doing much better" after months in rehab for a mental health crisis.
He was arrested last August and diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but now says he's on the upswing.
Hill cites stigma and medication fears
He admitted he delayed getting help because of stigma and fears about medication. Since joining a mental health program in April, he's feeling more optimistic, plus it could help clear his charges.
Lil Nas X called life "extreme hard mode" as a Black, gay person with bipolar disorder, thanked fans for their support, and promised new music is on the way.
