Hyderabad Police nab key suspect in iBomma piracy case
Hyderabad Police have arrested Immadhi Ravi, who's believed to be a central figure behind the iBomma piracy ring leaking Telugu movies and OTT content.
Picked up from Kukatpally, Ravi is now with the Cybercrime wing.
His arrest comes as part of an investigation that began in June 2025, after complaints about the leaks of #Single and HIT: The Third Case surfaced online on their release days.
How the piracy network worked
This bust comes after five others were arrested in September for hacking media servers and sharing HD films online.
The group used encrypted Telegram chats, foreign servers, and cryptocurrency to stay hidden.
Authorities say online gaming and betting sites helped fund the operation, and investigations are still underway to shut down the entire network.
