Born on September 27, 1973, Indira Anne Varma is a British actress best known for her performance in the film ‘Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love’ (1996), and the television series ‘The Canterbury Tales’ (2003), ‘Rome’ (2005-2007), ‘Luther’ (2010), ‘Human Target’ and ‘Game of Thrones.’ An alumnus of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Varma made her acting debut with the movie ‘Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love.’ Between 1996 and 2021, she has appeared in more than 15 Bollywood movies. Some of her critically-lauded and commercially successful movies include ‘Jinnah’ (1998), ‘Bride and Prejudice’ (2004), ‘Sex and Death 101’ (2007), ‘Exodus: Gods and Kings’ (2014), and ‘The One and Only Ivan’ (2020). She made her television debut with the show ‘Crucial Tales’ (1996). Between 1996 and 2021, she has appeared in more than 20 TV shows. She has also appeared in the Netflix series ‘Paranoid’ (2016), and the Amazon Prime Video series ‘Carnival Row’ (2019). She tested COVID-19 positive in March 2020.
