"Special film on a special person by a special filmmaker"
"Universal appeal and message" of the movie intrigued Bhansali
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, this one-hour long film has been jointly produced by Bhansali and Mahaveer Jain. Speaking about the project, Bhansali stated that it was the "universal appeal and message" that aroused his interest in the project. Reportedly, the movie will narrate the untold chapters of PM Modi's life "which has not been in the public domain so far".
"It's an unheard story which needs to be told"
"The story was very well-researched, and the turning point of our PM's life as a young man really intrigued me. I felt that it's an unheard story which needs to be told," Bhansali added. The movie has been written and directed by Ssanjay Tripaathy.
"I'm sure it will connect and inspire today's youth deeply"
On the other hand, co-producer Jain feels Mann Bairagi chronicles the "defining moment" of PM Modi's life. "I am sure it will connect and inspire today's youth deeply, and that's what excited us to work on this film," he added. Meanwhile, director Tripaathy is also hopeful that the special feature film will strike the right chord with the audiences, irrespective of their generation.
"It's a human interest story about self-discovery of a person"
"For me, it is a human interest story about the self-discovery of a person who went on to become such a strong leader of our country," Tripaathy was quoted as saying to Hindustan Times ahead of the first look launch of Mann Bairagi.
