  • On his 69th birthday today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received wishes from his fans and critics alike.

    He started his day by visiting the Statue of Unity, a colossal figure of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, and the Sardar Sarovar Dam in Gujarat.

    He used the occasion to share tweets from Kevadia and urged people to visit jungle safari and Cactus Garden.

  • BJP called him "Ma Bharati's true son" and made a 3:31-minute video glorifying his achievements. The party is also celebrating PM Modi's birthday as 'Seva Saptah' or service week.

    Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated PM Modi and described him as a leader with strong willpower and decisive leadership.

    Meanwhile, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted that he has been instrumental in developing India.

    Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal also tweeted that his name will go in history books as a "successful Prime Minister".

    To recall, Namgyal became an overnight star following his speech in the Parliament after the government's decision to make Ladakh a Union Territory.

  • Interestingly, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also wished PM Modi on his 69th birthday.

    Banerjee, who is likely to meet him in New Delhi on Wednesday for discussions on administrative issues, wrote on Twitter, "Birthday greetings to Prime Minister @narendramodi ji."

    Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal hoped for his long and healthy life.

    Congress President Sonia Gandhi also wished the same.

    Actor Randeep Hooda shared a shloka from the Mahabharata to wish PM Modi and called him the "hardest worker in any room".
