When Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover parted ways in 2017 after a mid-air brawl, their fans were left heartbroken. Ever since there have been speculations if they would ever let bygones be bygones. Although they never hesitated from exchanging pleasantries, we've been waiting for their reconciliation for long. And it seems that the dream finally came true as they, reportedly, called it truce.

According to media reports, this much-awaited moment happened during Sohail Khan's house party on Sunday. Reportedly, both Kapil and Sunil were spotted making their way to the party separately. However, it was reported that Salman Khan, who was also present at the bash, played the mediator between them. And, apparently he succeeded this time.
Salman also wants Sunil to join 'The Kapil Sharma Show'
Although there are no official details about Kapil-Sunil's reconciliation, this is the second time Salman tried brokering peace between the two. Earlier, Salman, who is producing The Kapil Sharma Show, had demanded Kapil-Sunil's reunion. In fact, he even spoke to Sunil with whom he is working in Bharat. "He did speak to me briefly about it in a casual chat," Sunil had said.
Why Sunil turned down Salman's offer?
However, much to everyone's disappointment, Sunil turned down Salman's offer citing date issues. In fact, when he was asked about his reunion with Kapil, he dodged the question saying that only time would decide it. "Right now I am concentrating on my show and hope I am able to bring a smile on everyone's faces," Sunil was quoted saying in one of his interviews.

But don't act like a God," Sunil had said then.
But it's all a thing of the past
As they say, time heals everything. It seemed Kapil-Sunil have also buried the hatchet. Earlier too, the comedians have publicly wished each other the best in life. In fact, Sunil even sent best wishes for Kapil's comeback show. "I pray that he remains happier than earlier and lady luck works for him," he had said. We wonder if they would reunite anytime soon.
