A source revealed to Pinkvilla, "Kartik and Hansal share a good equation and have been meaning to collaborate for a while now. This one is a real-life story which will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala." "The involved parties are yet to sign on the dotted line. The film is expected to go on the floors in the first quarter of 2022," the source added.

Film's script yet to be completed
While the makers have not given an official confirmation, a source has revealed that the story of the movie is yet to be completed by the writers. As soon as the story gets finished, Mehta will start pre-production work of the film. For the unversed, the director's debut web series Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story was a massive hit.

Meanwhile, Aaryan-starrer Dhamaka has reportedly been sold to Netflix and it will be out this June.
