A source told IANS that Bachchan (84) hasn't been feeling well and, hence, the makers have decided to pause the shooting for new episodes. Meanwhile, the channel, Sony TV, is reportedly airing old episodes with celebrity guests as part of its Diwali special week.

The last major celebrity episode of KBC was filmed with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Ravi Dubey.
They came to promote their film Ramayana on the show.
The episode was supposed to air along with the movie's release, but was rescheduled due to Bachchan's health concerns.
Instead of delaying it, the channel decided to kick off its Diwali special week with this episode last week.
Resumption
Shooting might resume next week
The source also revealed that the shooting is expected to resume next week, depending on Bachchan's health condition.
"The shoot will resume hopefully from next week but only if his health allows," the source said.
Meanwhile, Bachchan has been writing about his return to routine and connection with well-wishers in his blog posts.
