Khan and Dutt's '7 Dogs's nets ₹18L in India
Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt's big-budget action thriller 7 Dogs hasn't found its audience in India, earning just ₹18 lakh on its second day.
Released on August 21 in both Hindi and English, the movie saw low numbers from both versions (₹4 lakh from Hindi, ₹9 lakh from English) despite all the hype.
Reportedly $40 million Arabic-language '7 Dogs'
Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, 7 Dogs features Ahmed Ezz, Karim Abdel Aziz, Monica Bellucci, and Giancarlo Esposito alongside Khan and Dutt.
Backed by a hefty $40 million budget (reportedly the most expensive Arabic-language film ever made), it tells the story of an Interpol officer teaming up with a criminal to take down a global syndicate.
The film premiered in Arab countries back in May but so far hasn't managed to make waves with Indian viewers.
