    What's the story

Karan Johar has helmed some of the biggest romantic films of this generation but the director says he is yet to make a movie he entirely loves.

Karan, who debuted with 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', says he often cringes when he sees some portions of his work.

He was speaking at the launch of his radio show "Calling Karan" Season-2 on Ishq 104.8 FM.

    Retrospection

Seeing some parts of my movies I feel terrible: Karan

"In retrospect when I look back and see some parts of my movies I cringe and feel terrible that I actually subjected an audience to those portions. Some of them got fortunate, other parts in those films made them reach a certain success mark," Karan said.

"I'm not proud and happy with each and every one of them," he added.

Karan gives love advice to callers on radio show

On the "Calling Karan" show, the director gives love advice to callers but says he never takes a cue to help people from his films.

"No, what we show in the movies is ridiculous. You can't possibly ruin people's lives by giving those situations. Those are meant for cinema halls," he said.

Karan said he has often broken relationships because of his honest advice.
