Kareena's grandma Krishna gave special advice to her before wedding
Krishna Raj Kapoor, the matriarch of Kapoor clan, breathed her last on October 1 and left a void in the khandaan. The lady was considered to be an epitome of love, dignity, grace and warmth. While Krishna had managed to keep the entire Kapoor clan united, she also had a special advice for Kareena and every other new bride for their married life.
Krishna's advice is a must read for all the brides-to-be
Krishna wanted the new brides to understand the importance of family. Since Kareena was the last Kapoor who got married, she too got this advice. Krishna's words were, "When you shall go as a bride into your husband's home, you must decide whether you want to carry scissors with you or a pair of knitting needles".
Meanwhile, Bachchan wrote a heartfelt post for Krishna Raj Kapoor
Krishna's golden lines were revealed by megastar Amitabh Bachchan in an emotional post he shared on his blog. He remembered Krishna as a loving person who was faultless in etiquette and family protocol. "She kept this vast family of celebrated individuals together as one bond," Big B added. He also mentioned Krishna wanted that after her death, prayers were conducted in all four faiths.
Krishna's bahu Neetu Kapoor too shared an emotional post
Neetu Kapoor, who missed Krishna's last rites, shared a heartwarming post on Instagram about her mother-in-law. Neetu shared a picture of herself with her mother-in-law and wrote that Krishna had a huge influence on her life and she admired her wit, generosity and warmth. She also mentioned that no one can be like Krishna, and she will always stay in her heart.
