Levine 'Gilmore Girls's 'La La Land' actor dies aged 97

Bunny Levine, the familiar face from Gilmore Girls and La La Land, has passed away peacefully at 97.
She died in her sleep at home in Tarzana, California, and police said her death appeared to be from natural causes, and she raised three children with her husband, Bernard.
Levine became character actor at 59
Levine spent about 25 years as a librarian and teacher before jumping into acting at age 59 with Slime City.
She quickly became a go-to character actor, playing Mrs. Thompson on Gilmore Girls, popping up in Everybody Loves Raymond, and landing roles in films like La La Land and Adam Sandler's You Don't Mess with the Zohan.
She kept working well into her '90s, with recent appearances on The Upshaws and the new film The Cure.
