Mammootty returns to Tamil cinema with 'OM' after 7 years
Entertainment
After seven years away, veteran actor Mammootty is making a comeback to Tamil cinema with OM, co-starring Dhanush and Sai Pallavi.
At the film's pre-release event, he said, "There are so many stories in it - a hillside story about common people, Sai Pallavi's story, Dhanush sir's story, and more. I'm not going to say the story."
He also said the film is serious and did not want to reveal the story.
Periasamy's 'OM' releases November 20
Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, OM is an action thriller inspired by real events: expect intense moments like Dhanush's character saving a group of woodcutters in a rain-soaked sequence.
The cast also includes Sreeleela and Naseeruddin Shah.
Produced by Wunderbar Films and R Take Studios, OM releases worldwide on November 20, 2026.
