Meet Vijay Subramaniam, the mastermind behind 'Mahabharat Ek Dharmayudh'
Vijay Subramaniam is the founder and CEO of Collective Artists Network, a leading creative marketplace in India.
He's making waves with "Mahabharat Ek Dharmayudha," an AI-powered retelling of the epic now streaming on Jio Cinema.
The project mixes classic Indian stories with new tech to create big-budget content at lower costs.
From band drummer to creator network builder
Subramaniam started out as a drummer in an alt-rock band. He co-founded KWAN Entertainment in 2009, which later evolved into Collective Artists Network, formally established in 2021.
What began as managing Bollywood stars has grown into a full ecosystem helping creators with PR, career growth, brand deals, and monetization—basically giving them the tools to build lasting careers.
Building a 'supermarket' for creators
His vision? To turn Collective into a one-stop shop where creators can access everything from content production to merchandising and investment opportunities.
With upcoming projects like Hanuman and Krishna movies and expanded series, he hopes to boost India's cultural presence—and help creators thrive along the way.
