Meezaan Jafri, son of actor Jaaved Jaaferi, has opened up about the challenges of being a star kid in Bollywood. Speaking to India Today, he said that while there are advantages to having a famous surname, it also comes with its own set of burdens. "Yes, of course, we have it easy in a very different perspective, but then we have it difficult also in a different perspective because that baggage and burden are also there on that star kid."

"Everyone has their own set of actors or people in their own groups, and a lot of people have plugged in their talent management agencies with their production houses," he noted. 'I didn't want to unnecessarily make noise or do PR'
Jafri, who made his debut in 2019, has been selective about his projects. He admitted that he hasn't done as many films as some of his peers but is confident about the choices he's made. "I've taken the best decisions according to whatever was on my plate and I'll continue doing so," he said. He added, "You just have to keep quiet and keep working." He is currently seen in De De Pyaar De 2, which also stars his father.
