Why did Mira Rajput miss Shahid's 'Kabir Singh' success bash?
Shahid has every reason to be happy these days as Kabir Singh continues to slay the box office. But he doesn't have that one special person by his side to celebrate this success: his wife Mira Rajput. Recently, Shahid celebrated the film's success with his team in Mumbai. However, Mira wasn't a part of the bash. Wondering why? Because, she was attending a wedding.
The team of Kabir Singh is elated as the movie clocked over Rs. 200 crore in two weeks. To celebrate this feat, they hosted a grand success party, which was attended by the entire team, including the film's producer Bhushan Kumar. The lead couple of the film, Shahid and Kiara Advani, were spotted walking in style together to the success bash, all smiling.
Naturally, Mira's absence from the bash grabbed eyeballs. However, her Instagram stories revealed that she was enjoying at her friend's wedding. Mira also shared stunning pictures of herself from the wedding wherein she was seen dressed in a heavily embellished baby pink-colored lehenga.
Notably, this wasn't the first success party for Kabir Singh. Earlier, Shahid celebrated the movie's grand opening with Mira and brother Ishan Khatter at his Mumbai residence. Mira also shared pictures from the celebration in Instagram stories with Shahid-Ishaan dancing their hearts out. Later, she posted an adorable boomerang video of herself with Shahid, as he was seen planting a kiss on her cheeks.
Meanwhile, Kabir Singh refuses to slow down at the box office and has made a collection of Rs. 213.20 crore so far. It surpassed the lifetime collection of Salman Khan's Bharat (Rs. 210.68 crore) to become the second highest grossing movie after Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike. Given its stupendous run, Kabir Singh is expected to beat Uri to top the charts soon.
