Mmishra disputes Shrinate denial over 'Kala Hiran' casting and exit
Actor Sonu Mmishra is pushing back after director Bharat S Shrinate claimed he was never part of the film Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy. The movie, inspired by the 1998 blackbuck poaching case linked to Salman Khan, has stirred up drama.
Mmishra says he was cast in April because of his Rajasthan roots and history with Khan, but left due to creative and ethical disagreements.
Mmishra claims unpaid dues, shares proof
Mmishra shared a flight booking, hotel bookings, and behind-the-scenes footage as evidence of his involvement. He also said the director paid for his return flight but didn't cover two days of work.
"Furthermore, when I decided to leave the project, the director himself transferred money from his account for my return flight. Only after receiving that amount was I able to book my flight and return. These are documented facts. Despite fulfilling my professional commitments during those two days, I have not received my dues," he claimed.
Despite this, Shrinate denies ever working with him.
Mmishra insists production records back him up and says more people connected to the project are coming forward.
'Kala Hiran' inspired by blackbuck case
Kala Hiran is reportedly based on the blackbuck case where Salman Khan was accused in 1998.
The project has been surrounded by controversy.
