The upcoming Telugu film Thandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, has reportedly bagged a lucrative streaming deal with Netflix.
The OTT platform has bought the rights for a whopping ₹65cr, according to 123Telugu. The deal comes ahead of the film's theatrical release on Friday (February 7).
Thandel's director Chandoo Mondeti revealed during promotions that more than half of its budget has already been recovered.

'Thandel' to stream on Netflix post-theatrical run
The film, made on a budget of ₹90cr, will start streaming on Netflix after 50 days of its theatrical release.
In their statement, Netflix confirmed that Thandel will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi languages after its cinema run.
In Thandel, Chaitanya plays a fisherman, and his paycheck is said to be between ₹15-20 crore. Co-star Pallavi was allegedly paid ₹5 crore, which is more than her fee for her last film Amaran.
