From the West to here in India, these talk shows have found great popularity among the audience. One such show is Nijam with Smita which has recently started streaming on an OTT platform. Smita marked her debut as a talk show host

Noted playback singer and Telugu actor Smita has made her debut as a talk show host. In the show which is presented by Dev Katta, Smita gets chatty with some of the big names from the cinema, sports, and political worlds about their work and their journey in their respective fields. Along with these, old videos from their early career days are also shown.

When and where to watch it 

Nijam with Smita premiered on February 10 on SonyLIV. The show has a weekly format with each fresh episode releasing every Friday. The premiere episode featured Telugu film industry's megastar Chiranjeevi while the second episode of the talk show, which will release on Friday, February 17, will feature former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Naidu will talk about his humble beginning

The next episode featuring the former CM has been titled Development vs. Populism. Showcasing the unseen side of Naidu, the episode will focus on Naidu talking about his early days. From politics to his humble beginning, childhood memories, college days, and crushes, he would chat with Smita about everything under the roof. He would also go on to talk about his philosophy of love.

Premiere episode

Chiranjeevi spoke about son Ram Charan's performance in 'Naatu Naatu'

In the first episode, Chiranjeevi spoke about the challenges he faced in life to become a megastar. One of the highlights was when he spoke about his actor-son Ram Charan's performance in RRR's song Naatu Naatu. "After his performance in Naatu Naatu song in the RRR movie, I was a little unsure if I can stand beside him and match his performance," said Chiranjeevi.

The makers have selected roughly about 20 prominent personalities from different fields.
