Predominantly known for his work in Telugu movies, Rana Daggubati, is an actor, producer, entrepreneur, and visual effects co-ordinator in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil cinema. Born in Chennai in 1984, he did his schooling in Chennai and Hyderabad. Grandson of noted Telugu producer D Ramanaidu and the son of filmmaker D Suresh Babu, Daggubati made his debut in the Tollywood industry in 2010 with 'Leader'. Notably, his first Telugu film became one of the highest-grossing movies of the industry and helped him bag the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut—South. In the following year, he made a debut in Bollywood with the film 'Dum Maaro Dum' opposite Bipasha Basu. He was yet again conferred the Zee Cine Award for Best Male Debut for his Bollywood debut. In the same year, he was seen in the Telugu 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi', which was a huge box-office bomb. After giving several movies over the next three years, he was seen in 'Baahubali: The Beginning', playing the antagonist. 'Baby', 'Ghazi', and 'Baahubali 2' are also among the highest-grossing films of Daggubati. He is the head of Ramanaidu Studios, one of the largest production houses in India. In August 2020, Daggubati tied the knot with interior designer Miheeka Bajaj.
