Piracy giant Tamilrockers is turning out to be a menace for filmmakers these days.
The notorious website is known to leak every new release within hours of their theatrical release.
And this time it has targeted three big releases of the week - Prassthanam, The Zoya Factor and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas.
All the three are available for free download on torrent websites.
First day collection: 'PPDKP' beats 'Prassthanam', 'The Zoya Factor'
To note, all the three movies released yesterday, which means box office witnessed a massive clash.
While all of them opened to average reviews from the audiences, reportedly Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas managed to beat its competitors at the cash registers with a collection of around Rs. 1 crore.
However, piracy is likely to take a toll on the movies' collections.
'Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas' marks Karan Deol's Bollywood debut
For the uninitiated, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas marks the Bollywood debut of Dharmendra's grandson Karan Deol.
The movie was directed by Sunny Deol.
On the other hand, Prassthanam happens to be the maiden project of Sanjay Dutt's production house and was produced by his wife Manyata.
Meanwhile, The Zoya Factor received mixed reviews from the audience.
Earlier, Tamilrockers had targeted 'Saaho', 'Chhichhore', 'Dream Girl', 'Kabir Singh'
Notably, Prassthanam, The Zoya Factor and PPDKP join the list of recent releases that were targeted by Tamilrockers.
Earlier, films like Saaho, Chhichhore, Super 30, Kabir Singh, Article 15, Dream Girl, Spider-Man: Far From Home, The Lion King, Avengers: Endgame also became its victims.
In fact, popular web series Sacred Games 2, which was aired on Netflix, couldn't escape the piracy web, either.
Despite court action, piracy still out of control in India
In 2018, Madras High Court put a ban on 12,000 sites to curb piracy. Among the banned sites, Tamilrockers alone had access to 2,000 of them. Although it has been banned innumerable times, they reportedly return with a different proxy server every time.
