Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor recently celebrated his 43rd birthday by going live on the Instagram page of his lifestyle brand ARKS. During the session, he revealed that he is keen to make his directorial debut. He said, "I am dying to direct a movie. I actually started a writer's room recently, and I am trying to inspire myself with the 2 ideas I am [working on]." "It's definitely on my to-do list in the next couple of years."

Updates on 'Love & War,' 'Animal Park'
Kapoor also shared updates about his upcoming film, Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He revealed that the movie will be released in 2026. He also revealed that Animal Park, his next film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, will go on floors in 2027. "Sandeep has been interacting with me on the idea, the music and the characters, and it's just crazy, and I can't wait to be on set."

During the live session, Kapoor also shared a sweet moment from his personal life. He revealed that his two-year-old daughter, Raha, promised him 43 kisses on his birthday, and she delivered on that promise. "On this birthday, Raha promised me that she'll give me 43 kisses, and she just did that," he said. Kapoor is married to actor Alia Bhatt, and they welcomed their first child in November 2022.
