What's the story

Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is set to begin shooting for a new family entertainer directed by Sooraj Barjatya, reported Bollywood Hungama. The film will be produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Mahaveer Jain Films and Anita Gurnani. The production will begin on November 1, just 10 days after the release of Khurrana's horror-comedy Thamma on October 21.

The upcoming film, also starring Sharvari, is a reunion of Rajshri Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films after their successful collaboration on Uunchai (2022). A source told Bollywood Hungama, "After Uunchai, Rajshri Productions has decided to join hands once again with Mahaveer Jain Films." "Both Sooraj Barjatya and Mahaveer Jain had a wonderful time working with each other on Uunchai and hence, they decided to collaborate once more for the upcoming film."

The upcoming family entertainer will be directed by Barjatya, known for films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Saath Saath Hain and Vivah. The source added, "The film goes on floors on November 1. It is a romantic family entertainer and would have the trademark Sooraj Barjatya stamp." Meanwhile, Jain's next big venture, Naagzilla, is also in the pipeline. The film stars Kartik Aaryan and is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba in collaboration with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.
