SRAM & MRAM announce ₹3,000 cr virtual film campus
A massive ₹3,000 crore virtual film campus is coming up in Tamil Nadu, thanks to SRAM & MRAM Group and Paradigm Pictures.
The idea? Mix AI-generated environments with real sets to make movies faster, cheaper, and better.
What will the campus feature?
The 100-acre campus will feature LED stages with AI rendering engines and 360° 4K displays for super-realistic scenes.
Solar power and modular construction aim to cut waste by up to 80%, making it a greener project.
It will create over 10,000 jobs
This project is expected to create over 10,000 jobs and bring in ₹1,200 crore every year for the local economy.
Plus, a new training academy (in partnership with BAFTA) will help young creators level up their VFX and cinematography skills.
Construction to begin shortly
Construction is set to begin shortly, with phased delivery beginning in 2026.
