'Stree' remains unstoppable, inches towards Rs. 100 crore club
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's 'Stree' has managed to continue its winning streak at the box office in the second week as well. The horror-comedy has managed to rake in Rs. 82.29 crore in just two weeks of release and is still making the cash registers jingle. In fact, it is expected to enter the prestigious Rs. 100 crore in the coming week.

'Stree' beats lifetime collections of 'PadMan' and 'Dhadak'
With a stupendous collection, Amar Kaushik's directorial has surpassed the lifetime collections of Akshay Kumar-starrer 'PadMan' and Janhvi Kapoor's debut 'Dhadak'. 'Dhadak' earned Rs. 74.19 crore, while 'PadMan' made a collection of Rs. 81.82 crore during its run at the box office. That is certainly a big achievement for 'Stree' which was made with a budget of only Rs. 20 crore.
Word of mouth did wonders for 'Stree'
'Stree' has minted Rs. 32.27 crore in its first week, whereas the second-week collections saw a decline of 32.14%. The earnings in the second week turned out to be Rs. 21.90 cr. Although there is a decline in numbers, the word of mouth is still doing wonders for 'Stree' and is all set to make the horror-comedy a blockbuster hit.
