Telugu actor Rajashekar updates fans after serious leg injury
Entertainment
Telugu star Dr. Rajashekar is taking a break from acting after a pretty rough ankle injury on the set of his new film, Biker, on November 25.
According to reports from his team and media outlets, he needed surgery for multiple fractures in his right ankle—a process that took doctors three hours to fix.
What happened and what's next?
Rajashekar's surgery was no small deal: doctors used plates, screws, and wires to stabilize his ankle.
Now, he's been told to rest up and keep things still for at least three to four weeks.
Because of this, all his projects—including Biker and another big film with Vijay Deverakonda and Keerthy Suresh—are on pause for now.
If recovery goes well, he is expected to be back on set in January 2026, depending on his recovery progress.
